Jaguar
Wild species · No. 18 / 89
A little less often seen — a nice find. You had about a 1-in-2 chance of drawing Jaguar as The Curious Explorer — one of 3 cats you could have become.
You've changed routes home from work just to see a different street. New restaurants, new cities, hobbies you'll abandon in a year. You'd rather try something and learn it wasn't for you than wonder. The list of things you've been into and moved on from is long, and you don't regret a single one.
Why a Jaguar?
The largest cat in the Americas and arguably the most fearless. Jaguars are powerfully built, comfortable in water, and willing to take on prey other big cats avoid, including caiman crocodiles. They're observers first, but once they decide on something, they commit.
Did you know
Jaguars have the strongest bite force of any big cat. Their jaws can crack through turtle shells and bone, and they're one of the only big cats that routinely kills by biting through the skull rather than the throat.
