An uncommon draw — only a handful of these in the album. You had about a 1-in-7 chance of drawing Marbled Cat as The Dreamer — one of 5 cats you could have become.
You spend a lot of your day in places no one else can see. You write things in your head that don't quite make it to paper. You notice the way light hits a building, the unsaid thing in a conversation, the song playing under everything else. The people who love you have learned not to interrupt the staring-out-the-window phases. That's where your best work happens.
Why a Marbled Cat?
A small wild cat found in the forests of Southeast Asia, with one of the most beautiful coats in the cat family. Cloud-like dark markings on a golden background. Marbled Cats spend most of their time in trees, hunting birds and small primates, and they're so secretive that they were considered nearly extinct until camera traps confirmed their continued presence in several countries.
Did you know
Marbled Cats are sometimes mistaken for small Clouded Leopards because of their similar patterning, but they're a completely separate species. They have unusually long tails, almost as long as their bodies, which they use for balance while moving through tree canopies.
