Why a Black-footed Cat?
The smallest wild cat in Africa, weighing only about three pounds at adulthood. Despite the tiny size, Black-footed Cats are among the most successful predators in the cat world by hunting success rate. They catch prey on roughly 60 percent of attempts, compared to about 25 percent for lions. They're fearless, persistent, and intensely focused.
Did you know
A Black-footed Cat can hunt up to 14 prey items in a single night, walking 5 to 10 miles in the process. They've been called the deadliest cats on earth by hunting efficiency, despite being barely larger than a soda bottle.
