A little less often seen — a nice find. You had about a 1-in-4 chance of drawing Donskoy as The Quirky Individualist — one of 5 cats you could have become.
You've never been able to suppress what makes you weird, and at some point you stopped trying. Your fashion sense is yours alone. Your taste in music makes playlists hard. Your laugh is recognizable from across a room. People remember you because there's no one to confuse you with.
Why a Donskoy?
Another Russian hairless breed, distinct from the Peterbald. Donskoys are warm-skinned, expressive, and known for being almost dog-like in their loyalty. They have prominent wrinkles, large ears, and a confident demeanor that some owners describe as more like sharing the house with a small, opinionated person than a cat.
Did you know
The Donskoy breed was founded in 1987 in the Russian town of Rostov-on-Don, when a small girl rescued a kitten that gradually lost most of its fur. The trait turned out to be a genetic mutation that breeders developed into a recognized breed.
